Workflow Trigger - New Post Comment
Comment-to-lead campaigns used to mean watching your post and DMing every commenter by hand. The new New Post Comment trigger runs a workflow whenever someone comments on a post you select — with an optional keyword filter — so the whole play runs itself.
What's New
- New workflow trigger that fires when someone comments on the selected LinkedIn post
- Monitor posts on a personal profile or a business page — you choose the page and the post in the trigger filters
- Optional keyword filter: only fire when the comment contains your keyword (e.g., "comment PROMPT to get the prompt pack")
- Returns the commenter's profile details, the comment text, their network distance, and whether they're already a connection
- Comments are checked periodically throughout the day, and the trigger fires once per new comment
How It Works
- When the trigger fires, start with a Find Contact action using the Provider ID from the payload — and create the contact if none is found
- Reply on the post with Reply To A Comment, or acknowledge it with React To A Comment
- Branch on the Is Relationship field: send existing connections a direct message, and send everyone else a connection request
